This policy explains what personal information Zini Social collects, why, and your rights. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password (stored encrypted, never in plain text).
- Orders and wallet: what you buy, the links or usernames you give for boosting, wallet top-ups, refunds and your balance.
- Payments: top-ups are processed by licensed payment providers. We receive the payment reference, amount and status. We never see or store your card details.
- Sign-in and security records: the time, IP address and browser of each sign-in, used to protect your account and stop fraud.
- Messages to support: anything you send us by email or chat.
How we use it
- To create and run your account, fund your wallet and deliver your orders.
- To send service emails, such as email verification, password resets and order or wallet notices.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, and to keep the site secure.
- To meet our legal, accounting and tax duties.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only what is needed, with:
- payment providers, to process your top-ups;
- the partners who fulfil your orders, for example the public link you want boosted (never your password or contact details);
- our hosting and email providers, who store and send data for us;
- the authorities, when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details while your account is open. Order and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax, usually six years. Sign-in records are kept for a shorter period for security.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work: your sign-in session, security tokens and your light or dark theme choice. Tutorial videos load from YouTube or Vimeo only when you press play.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Email support@zinisocial.com and we will reply within 30 days. Some records, such as payment records, must be kept by law even if you close your account. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security
We protect your information with encryption, access controls and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you do not use anywhere else.
Children
Zini Social is not for anyone under 18.
